Reasons to Exhibit Again

BASF is one of the leading suppliers to the sunscreen industry with an extended product portfolio of sophisticated sun protection ingredients. The Company has a strong focus on the Home and Personal care industry and hence participating in an exhibition like this is of utmost importance. It is an international event, concentrating exclusively on producers of personal care, home care and cosmetic products, which is the future growth market for BASF in India. Besides, it serves as an excellent platform to interact directly with customers, share first-hand information on the new product range/portfolio and demonstrate our current market standing, thus expanding our customer network.

The customer target group for Courage+Khazaka electronic for skin testing instruments was present. Many of the visitors were already C+K customers and had the opportunity to see the full range of the equipment or the new devices. They were able to ask detailed questions and get demonstrations. The other visitors informed themselves what kind of skin testing instruments are available for which tasks in efficacy testing and claim support. This was deepened with a 10 minutes technical seminar about "Skin testing instruments in R&D" with focus on skin whitening. An attractive programme of the HPCI congress with high quality visitors will also in future win Courage+Khazaka electronic as an exhibitor.

Textron really appreciates the high quality and number of new projects initiated and maintained during the exhibition. It is not so much the large crowd that interests us but the quality scope of our collaboration with key existing and new potential manufacturers, distributors and industry players. For this purpose the exhibition was perfect and in synergy with our Natural Oils and Preservation Systems. We will definitely participate in a larger booth next year and will continue to sponsor a technical seminar to give something back to our clients or any attendee in appreciation for their patronage and interest.

The HPCI Congress held on 16 – 17th December 2010 was a grand success. We had a great response in terms of customer enquiries. The event was well reached out to and appreciated. HPCI is the only event in India to concentrate exclusively on manufacturers of Personal care and Home care products. It was an excellent platform for Mascot to meet new customers and also served as a forum for one to one interaction with existing customers. We are channel partners to the best names in the industry and hence it was a great opportunity for us to display our products. HPCI has helped raise our profile as Market developers and we have been successful in educating the market about the length and breadth of services we offer. We were able to achieve personal interaction with real buyers, which we might not have got otherwise. We were also very happy with the response we got for the tech-seminar where Ms. Rimpie J. Panjwani and Mr. Fabrice PERIN, PhD gave presentations on Marketing of Personal Care Market in India and Scientific concepts behind in vivo testing of cosmetic products efficacy, respectively.

The HPCI Congress gave us a chance to launch our new venture Mascot Spincontrol India Private Limited. This helped us to educate our customers about how an efficacy testing lab can benefit their value chain. Overall it was a great show, with tremendous help rendered by the organisers. We look forward to the HPCI in February 2012 and extend our whole hearted support to the team at HPCI.
