The event saw a total attendance of 889 which is a 44% increase to 2010 and doubled the exhibition space. More than 160 companies presented their products and services to the high qualified audience. Most of the visitors also took advantage of the scientific conference or the technical seminars presented onsite.

"Despite the fact that a number of pre-registered visitors had to cancel their participation possibly due to the difficult political situation in their home countries, we had a considerable increase in visitors and delegates compared to 2010" said Robert Fischer, HPCI Congress Director. "There is still a huge potential and we are absolutely confident to see more and more visitors from the regions of Africa, Balkans, Caucasia & Central Asia, CIS and Gulf additionally to the important Turkish audience. Istanbul is the ideal location for this event and the very easy and mostly visa-free travel conditions for all international visitors will certainly boost the attendance further."

Right on the close of the door all 2011 exhibitors had reserved for 2012 and increased their stand space by more than 60%. A number of new exhibitors have also already booked exhibition space for 2012. HPCI Middle East and Eurasia 2012 has already doubled its exhibition space compared to 2011.

The third edition of the HPCI Exhibition and Conference Middle East and Eurasia will take place on May 23-24, 2012, again in the WOW Convention Center in Istanbul.
