For the first time in the Middle East region, HPCI Congress (Home and Personal Care Ingredients Congress) was held on June 9-10, 2010 at the WOW Convention Center in Istanbul.
The HPCI Congress, which consists of a two days exhibition and conference, was organized by SOFW
(Verlag f. chemische Industrie H. Ziolkowsky GmbH) in close collaboration with the Turkish Society of Cosmetics Scientists, TCOS.
A total of 681 people including exhibitors attended the HPCI Congress. 518 registered visitors showed up over the two days of the event. Among the 518 visitors, 135 were registered for the conference.

During the HPCI Conference, 7 local and 14 international speakers presented recent scientific innovations and developments in home and personal care formulations and raw materials. At the exhibition 101 companies introduced their raw materials, machinery and services to formulators, manufacturers and distributors. Exhibitors were very satisfied with the numbers and the quality of the visitors, which came from 22 different countries.
"We are already looking forward to the 2nd HPCI Congress Middle East & Eurasia and we will increase our marketing efforts in all Middle Eastern and Eurasian countries. We are confident that this event is going to be "The Meeting Place" of the Home and Personal Care industries of these areas in the future!" says Robert Fischer, HPCI Director.
Most of the 2010 exhibitors have already announced their participation in 2011 and rebooking space has already exceeded the size of the exhibition in 2010.
The HPCI Congress Middle East & Eurasia 2011 will be held from June 1-2, 2011 in Istanbul. A "MUST ATTEND" where the Cosmetic and Home Care industry of Middle East and Eurasia meets once a year.
